This Day In 1943….. Temptations Lead Singer Dennis Edwards Was Born!

It was just my imagination. Best known for taking over David Ruffin’s lead spot for the Motown group The Temptations, Dennis Edwards was a huge part of their success and today he celebrates his 71st birthday! Inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 1989, Dennis Edwards unique voice can be found on many of the Temptations later hits including Papa Was A Rollin’ Stone and Cloud Nine! Today we celebrate a man who was a staple in Motown and music history! Happy Birthday!
