2014 Academy Award Performances And Winners!

oscars
After last year’s dull, uncomfortable Oscars hosted by Seth MacFarlane, comedienne Ellen Degeneres more than made up for it this year. With her effortlessly hilarious monoglogues, a selfie that shut Twitter down (seen below), and turning the classy event into a pizza party, this year’s Oscars was a night to remember.

Along with those memorable moments, my personal pick 12 Years A Slave had a great night, for it not only won Best Picture, but the gorgeous breakout star Lupita Nyong’o won Best Supporting Actress. So well deserved!

While the 757 legendary producer Pharrell wasn’t able to take home an Oscar for his Despicable Me 2 single Happy, he did hit the stage along with Pink, Bette Midler, U2, and more! If you missed the show, check out the performances below along with the winners!

1. Pharrell (and his hat) Gets Happy

2. Karen O Performs The Moon Song

3. U2 Performs Ordinary Love

4. Bette Midler Performs Wind Beneath My Wings (in honor of those who passed this year)
