I am going to be one hundred percent honest and admit that I have absolutely no idea who Lil Durk is and how this ChiRaq to LA song came about. Yet, it seems to be the talk of the rap world (excluding the Jay Z vs Solange story), so I had to investigate. Long story short: Lil’ Durk called out Tyga on Meek Mill’s Chiraq record for “sneak dissing” him. So Tyga creates his own version of the song, and brings along his big brother, The Game, to go DMX style on Lil’ Durk because The Game, “don’t like no one”. Now, all parties are going back and forth, and while Durk claims that The Game is trying to get buzz from him, it seems to be the other way around. Plus, The Game has enough negative buzz around him that he doesn’t need more. I am sure there are some underlying reasons for the “beef”, but it is simply too complex to care.
Regardless of the circumstances, the song is good and The Game goes in. Moral of the story: to get known nowadays in rap is to diss, diss, and diss some more.
