God didn’t put us on the Earth to get murdered.
The story of Mike Brown is not dying down anytime soon and in light of its tragedy, many people are coming together for a greater cause. Surprisingly, rappers are doing the same. The Game has created a new all-star track, called Don’t Shoot, to pay tribute to Mike Brown and speak out against police brutality and racism in this country.
Don’t Shoot features Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Diddy, Fabolous, Wale, DJ Khaled, Swizz Beats, Yo Gotti, Curren$y, Problem, King Pharaoh, and lastly R&B group TGT. This Inspirational Sunday, we continue to life of Mike Brown and ask for justice to be brought in his murder. We also salute these musicians who are usually spewing words at each other, for using their talents for a greater cause. Regardless of their backgrounds and past walks of life, we need more rappers who have the platform to speak out, because sometimes one voice is all we need. It may not change the situation, but music can definitely ease the pain.
